Coming this Fall!
Where: We will meet at the Chattahoochee River Walk just before sunrise. After we photograph the sunrise, we will stroll on the boardwalk, where we will see many species of birds. Our next stop will be Vickery Creek and Falls, a hidden treasure in Roswell.
THE TOTAL WALKING DISTANCE WILL BE 3 MILES ON MOSTLY LEVEL AND PAVED TERRAIN. IF YOU ARE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED OR HAVE JUST HAD KNEE OR HIP SURGERY, I DON’T RECOMMEND YOU ENROLL IN THIS WORKSHOP. When you enroll, you will be asked to sign a liability waiver.
Who can attend: Anyone with a passion for photography and nature. Beginners are welcome.
What should I bring: Water, bug spray, hiking shoes, a DSLR or Mirrorless camera, a wide-angle AND a telephoto lens, two charged batteries, and a tripod.

What does it include? A tour through two of the best nature preserves in Atlanta, including photography instruction (I’ll tell you my favorite settings for sunrise, wildlife, and landscapes). During the workshop, you’ll be in the company of like-minded people, communing with nature and capturing amazing photographs.
