Our Photography Lessons have been revamped!

To nurture your artistic journey, I’ve designed a flexible 30-, 60-, or 90-day creative plan tailored to your unique rhythm. Whether you prefer a steady pace or an immersive dive, this plan adapts to your needs, ensuring that your creativity can blossom without constraints. After all, true art thrives when given the freedom to unfold naturally, at its own pace, with our photography lessons.

Our photography lessons are designed to fit seamlessly into your weekly routine, with six one-hour lessons. To reinforce what you learn, I’ll assign engaging homework for you to practice between lessons. Classes are available on weekdays between 9 AM and 6 PM, allowing flexibility in scheduling. While weekend lessons aren’t available, the course can be spaced out to accommodate vacations and busy schedules, ensuring your learning experience is both practical and convenient.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

    Gain a solid foundation in the technical aspects of your camera, including aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, and exposure.

    Take charge of your camera’s settings to control depth of field, freeze motion, or create artistic motion blur.

    Learn the art of visual storytelling with techniques such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, and balancing elements in your frame.

  4. Creative Lighting Techniques
    Discover how to manipulate natural light and experiment with flash to add drama, dimension, and mood to your images.

  5. Exploring Lenses and Focal Lengths
    Understand the various lens options, their unique characteristics, and how to use them to capture different perspectives creatively.

  6. Perfecting Focus and Exposure
    Explore the nuances of achieving proper focus and exposure, and understand the difference between correct and creative exposure.

    Dive into specific topics or skills aligned with your personal photography ambitions and goals.

WHERE DO WE MEET?

For the first five lessons, we meet in Duluth, Georgia. All the lessons are held outdoors. For the sixth and final lesson, we meet at a park or nature preserve that is convenient for both of us.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PARTICIPATE?

 You will need:

  • A DSLR or Mirrorless Camera.
  • A camera manual.
  • A commitment to practicing 1 hour per week.
  • A passion for learning photography.

The cost is:

  • One person – $90 per lesson 0r $540 total.
  • Group of two people – $70 per person or $420 per person
  • Group of three people – $60 per person or $360 per person
